The forged construction of its blade and the natural tones of its handle give the DAMASK WILLOW DM-065 a distinct identity compared to choppers with an entirely synthetic aesthetic. The knife features a 90Cr18MoV stainless steel core paired with a brown walnut handle.
A 79-layer composite forged blade
The 210 mm blade features a structure created using 79-layer composite forging technology. The core is made of 90Cr18MoV stainless steel, while the various layers create a wavy pattern visible on the surface.
With a thickness of 5.8 mm and a maximum width of 52 mm, this chopper’s geometry is well-suited for cutting vegetation, woodworking, and various tasks encountered during camping or bushcraft activities.
Walnut handle
The 120 mm handle is made of brown walnut wood. Its natural hues contrast with the blade’s metallic patterns and give the knife a more traditional finish.
With a total length of 350 mm and a weight of approximately 528 g, the DM-065 maintains sufficient mass for cutting motions while featuring a handle designed to guide the tool.
Crazy Horse Leather Sheath
An oiled Crazy Horse leather sheath is included with the chopper to protect the blade edge during storage and transport. This leather features a finish that evolves over time, developing a patina with use.
